August 14, 2017 -- Our week at the MTC (Missionary Training Center) was fabulous! When we received our mission call, we wondered why we'd spend five days in Provo. We found that the spirit of the MTC helped us focus on inviting others to come unto Christ and make Him the foundation of everything we do on our mission in Hawaii.
We loved our returned missionary trainers. They were enthusiastic teachers and had a wonderful spirit. We became good friends with other senior couples going all over the world; Sweden, Turkey, Hungary, Chile, Mexico, etc. and we enjoyed a Devotional by Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
