September 10, 2017 -- We love our one bedroom, one bath upstairs apartment, which makes cleaning so much easier!. We even have a garage which helps protect our car from the salt air. We have no A/C but enjoy the trade winds that pass through our apartment. We live above our landlord (young LDS family with five kids, he works at BYU-H in administration as a student recruiter).

We are working hard! Steve is already busy counseling students and Kathy is busy in the Registrar's office.

Counseling staff: Steve, Neil Annandale, Lose (intern), senior missionary Sister Wall, Ofa Moea'i, Leilani Auna (Clinical Director) and Lolo (intern). Not pictured: Farina McCarthy-Stonex.

We have become great friends with another senior couple who live in the adjoining upstairs apartment. They serve at the PCC (Polynesian Cultural Center). They have taken us around to some sights during our free time on Saturday and Labor Day. Below are pictures during the boat parade at the PCC.

We're still adapting to the rigors of early morning scripture study. :)
